Kavos Corfu ( Korfu ) Greece - Kavos nightlife Corfu Greece

corfu_greece_kavosAlmost at the island's very tip, only 7km southeast of Lefkimi in distance, lies Corfu's number one party resort of Kavos.  Only a short distance the other side of wild  Cape Asprokavos lies one of the island's most pristine and deserted beaches, Ai Gordis Paleohoriou.

Kavos beach is an impressive five miles long with good quality sand and safe shallow warm water popular with children and bathers. The beach is the other great attraction of Kavos and you will find the usual water sports and beach life.

Cape Aspro Kavos with its headland and tree-covered hills is a pleasant walk south with great views and the ruins of a monastery.

The very name Kavos can make most regular island visitors -and not a few islanders -cross themselves in dread. There are no ambiguities here: either you like 24-hour drinking, clubbing, bungee-jumping, go-karts, video bars named after British sitcoms and chips with everything, or you should avoid the place altogether.

Kavos resort with its five mile sandy beach and party atmosphere is on the southern tip of the island at the edge of a flat plain with neighbouring olive groves and views across the sea to the Greek mainland and Albania.

Kavos nightlife:The nights at Kavos are far from quiet and not even remotely traditional Greek. The array of restaurants, bars and discos along either side of the main street of Kavos is, in one word, impressive. There are plenty of restaurants & taverns offering British menus!
