Agios Stephanos is located on the North East coast of Corfu. (Rather confusing, as there is another Agios Stephanos located on the North West coast) Agios Stefanos East is a fishing village which has now become a very popular 'up market' resort with many stylish villas for rent. The bay can become busy during the day with visiting traffic..

The beach is small but clean, and there are wooden jetties that you can sunbathe or fish from, and you can hire a boat here to explore the nearby coves and bays.

Agios Stephanos East is a quite resort. Mainly attractive to families and some old couples.

It does have life in the day while the village is busy with the 'traffic' from the sea but at night it comes very quite. However in the waterside, you can find a few tavernas, serving traditional Greek cuisine and bars.

You will find that San Stefanos East Corfu has a certain kind of magic that just makes you want to return year after year. We feel sure that you will soon be heard saying " its our 2nd time here and we will be coming back next year!"

Local Greek people in this village are so friendly, and will put themselves out to make you feel welcome.

If you want to go shopping, you can find a few small tourist shops, in the main road. Some interesting places to visit near by its Kassiopi (about 15 minutes drive) and Kerasia. A nice, pebbly beach with beautiful, clear water. It nestles in the bay and offers a nice view of Albania in the background.
